Boundary element method for the solution of Helmholtz integral equation
Moses, Pavel
We apply boundary element method for the solution of Helmholtz integral equation, and we compute values of pressure, or its derivatives on the boundary. Solution at an arbitrary point near the barrier can be computed simply by substituting into the formula. Our method is demonstrated on an example of computeation of pressure field near a barrier of the type of unit circle for the case of excitation by a plane wave.
Vývoj efektivního paralelního BDDC řešiče pro úlohy lineární pružnosti
Šístek, Jakub ; Čertíková, Marta ; Burda, P. ; Neumanová, E. ; Pták, Svatopluk ; Novotný, Jaroslav ; Damašek, Alexandr
Our goal is to develop an efficient implementation of the BDDC method, which could be used fo solution of large problems of today's computational mechanics and structural analysis. A parallel approach is necessary for the usage of powerfull computer resources. We present results of computations of practical problems in 3D elasticty.
Seminář numerické analýzy. Modelování a simulace náročných technických problémů. Zimní škola. Výkonné a paralelní počítače, programovací technologie a numerická algebra

Seminar of Numerical Analysis 2007(SNA´07) is the forth meeting of a series started in 2003. SNA´07 is the third of the SNA meetings, which is held at the Institute of Geonics AS CR Ostrava. At this occasion, we would like to mention that the Institute was founded in 1982, which means not only 25 years of work of the Institute but also 25 years of research in mathematical modelling methods and creating a research group that is taking part in organizing SNA meetings. As become a tradition, SNA´07 is a combination of winter school and seminar, which makes the program attractive for a broad range colleagues.
